Larimar was originally formed within volcanic rock and made up of pectolite, an acid silicate hydrate of sodium and calcium. Also has copper within, that may appear throughout the stone. Larimar's unusual blues are rare and only found in the Dominican Republic. Known as the Dolphin Stone, The Caribbean Gemstone, Atlantis stone and mined by hand.
