• Place the rocks into jar or you may have purchased one all together
• Fill with filtered spring water
• Gently place your clean moss ball from the hermetically sealed bag into the water filled jar (unless you purchased already)
• Note: Please change the water ever two to three weeks (2 to 3 weeks)

• Recommendations includes keeping your moss amigo out of direct sunlight. Colder temperatures are better than warmth..
• Marimo moss balls are nature to lakes and other cool aquatic environments. Movement of water helps them retain their round shape.
• With a little love and care, your Moss Ball with retain its spherical shape if for any reason it changed. If it starts to look flat or irregular, try taking it out of it's jar and gently roll between your hands to reshape. This will help maintain its classic spherical form.
• Your Moss Ball can live for decades under the right conditions. In fact, the largest Moss Ball in the world is over 200 years old
• If your pet, turns a brownish color, then that indicates too much sun. Your pet will turn brown if the environment is just too warm. Move your pet to a cooler location with indirect or minimal sunlight and changing out the water as well.
• Also, gently rinse the pet out and add a pinch of salt to the jar to help return it to the natural green within a week or two.
• You can dress up your pet with a cute hat or other embellishments but then remove after play time is over. We want the air to circulate your pet.
