Ice Replacement Solution

Product Description

Freezielce™ is made of two "sandwich" sheets of specially designed plastic that contains a very special super absorbent cooling powder in between them. Each sheet is designed withpockets of cooling powder that is laminated in such a way that pockets/cells are formed. One side of the plastic film is water-permeable. When submerged in the water, the super absorbent cooling powder turns into gel cells, that can be frozen. The seams, in between the cells, makes Freezielce™ flexible to wrap around products, or can be bent into shape inside a box or package.

Smaller sheets can be made by cutting between seams and pockets to fit your special sizing needs. Packaged in dehydrated form and can be simply stored in an open plastic bag. Freezielce™ is environmentally friendly too.

In general, the size of the Freezielce™ is equal to the internal size of the container.

Activation for Use as Coolant

• Submerge the sheets in clean, warm water until water is fully absorbed (2 plus minutes)
• Scrunch sheet up in hands while immersed in water.
• Sometimes you will notice, some cells swell more rapidly than others. By rubbing the slower cells, you will increase faster hydration in all cells.
• Towel dry the sheets if necessary and stack in deep freezer. (Best to place grocery bag between every 3 sheets to prevent possible sticking)
• Adjust freezer to coldest/lowest setting for best results. Advice! The longer the freezer time, the longer the sheet will maintain.
• The lower the temperature of the products, the longer the surrounding air keeps cool.
• The lower the temperature, the Freezielce™ is frozen at, the longer the cooling power. (unlike regular ice, the lower the freezing temperature, the more cooling effect is obtained.
• As cold air tends to fall, it is recommended to at least put one sheet on top of the cargo.
